Update 1 year+: Still working great (18650s). I only charged at 500mA as I'm not sure if it's safe to charge my batteries at 1 amp or not, but 500mA seems 'fast enough'. At this level, neither the charger nor the batteries seem to generate heat. I bought a Nitecore charger a while back and it got very hot after a few minutes, smelled like electric fire and was actually producing smoke. It scared me to death and I got him back. This has put me off buying a new charger, especially from an unknown manufacturer. But this one has been great so far. It's definitely a goalkeeper. I'm pretty good at updating my reviews, so if anything goes wrong or I change my mind within the next 12 months I'll post it here.
