I was looking for a way to add a water line to my fridge without having to shut off the main water line. I used a "T" in this package by using an under sink plug for my cold water line, removing the line to the faucet and screwing in the "T". attached the PEX pipe and reattached the faucet feed pipe to the top of the new "T". It worked perfectly. I wish it had a shut off valve on the "T" specifically for the ice machine line. However, this was fairly easy to fix with the 1/4" plastic valve core I found in the HD. The compression stockings worked great. Hand tightening and very light tightening with adjustable pliers did the trick. Don't over tighten .Compression fittings.
