I was looking for a way to add a water line to my fridge without having to shut off the main water line. I used a "T" in this package by using an under sink plug for my cold water line, removing the line to the faucet and screwing in the "T". attached the PEX pipe and reattached the faucet feed pipe to the top of the new "T". It worked perfectly. I wish it had a shut off valve on the "T" specifically for the ice machine line. However, this was fairly easy to fix with the 1/4" plastic valve core

I bought this to replace my existing range of ice makers. When I received the product I noticed that it had a California Prop 65 warning on it, meaning it contains chemicals known to cause cancer. So why should I use it to deliver water to the fridge? There is no information on what these chemicals are and in what quantities. Based on my research this is the only Revain kit that is priced to match a non-penetrating water connection kit (it has a brass tee). I think $18-19 is too expensive for this and I'm asking about a competitor. The PEX pipe "read instructions" or something like that every 6 inches or so. So I read the instructions. Yes, finger tightening plus an extra twist with a tool is all you need. This can be installed with pliers. PEX can take decent turns. I went through a 4" vertical space under the sink

So I agree with another user who said it doesn't work with the GE fridge. Fridge brand new PYE22K, code GE. The first photo clearly shows that the socket at the end of the hose does not fit into the socket on the refrigerator faucet. Thread depth on nut 0.322". Flare depth 0.265". There is 0.057 inch left for the thread 🧵 on the fridge faucet. That's not enough for me to feel good. The first thread barely grabs and I decided to send it back rather than risk a cross thread on the fridge faucet.
