Based on my research this is the only Revain kit that is priced to match a non-penetrating water connection kit (it has a brass tee). I think $18-19 is too expensive for this and I'm asking about a competitor. The PEX pipe "read instructions" or something like that every 6 inches or so. So I read the instructions. Yes, finger tightening plus an extra twist with a tool is all you need. This can be installed with pliers. PEX can take decent turns. I went through a 4" vertical space under the sink cabinet and then climbed into the cabinet through a 1" hole in a 5/8" board with no problems. everything is fine. All parts felt exposed and the brass hardware/ Threads felt very smooth when mated to existing piping.
