Disappointed with chargers and adapters

I tried plugging it into the dash and it didn't work, then under the car (where loose change is kept) and it wouldn't stick, that's how disappointed I am really wanted it and was excited when i ordered it the glue lost some of its stickiness but i made sure to rub and clean both areas before applying the glue even if the locking mechanism still doesn't stick
