
Insufficient thermal conductivity due to the SSD slipping compared to screwing the heatsink directly onto the thermal pad/SSD. When I cloned the HDD to it, it got very hot and I'm sure the SSD in this case was even hotter. While this is a good case, there are cheaper options that will likely offer better protection against thermal throttling and/or better protection against potential SSD damage.
