It's a beast, but nothing's perfect and for me this is no exception. It would be ideal for me to use a quick release pin instead of the locking clip used on the clevis pin. The reason is that if I leave this hook on my jeep, it will be stolen within a short time. So I leave it in the back of my jeep. To remove the clip you will need a flathead screwdriver and pliers to reattach it. It doesn't seem like a big deal, but if it's in the dirt or in the dark and you drop the small retaining clip, it quickly becomes a big problem. Simply quick-release a pin solved the problem, but I don't have the equipment to drill a hole in a clevis pin to install it. Just food for thought for the manufacturer.
