Buyer Warning. Fragile glass, breaks easily!

Literally broken on first use. This was the second time I bought this thermometer, thinking it was my fault when it broke the first time. I now know that this thing is too fragile to use in a Crucible where it's being turned on and off frequently. It broke into pieces when I removed it from my melter. Strongly not hit and not dropped. Destroyed. I am so disappointed that I spent my money twice on this item. Buyer Warning.
