Review on Children's bike Novatrack Prime 16 (2019) black 10.5" (requires final assembly) by Adam Paka (Adam Trab ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Poor quality, I will not buy this product again.

The main indicated in the minuses. The conclusion for myself is this - no need to save money, normal bicycles are 2-3 times more expensive, if this one lasts a couple of seasons, then it's good. After the purchase, a complete overhaul is required with the adjustment and replacement of some components, otherwise the child will not ride at all. We are talking about a complete set in a box from the factory, perhaps when buying an already assembled version, some of the shortcomings will be eliminated.

Pros
  • Cheap. Simple construction.
Cons
  • The kit is not complete, in the fork the lower bearing was larger, they even bent it at the factory. Pedals without bearings, one does not spin at all, the second is tight. They go straight to the trash. The bushings and carriage are tightened from the factory, when adjusting, I found a lot of metal chips in the carriage. The locknuts on the bushings were so tightened by the Chinese that the cone keys were bent. The handbrake is nothing at all, the settings go astray after a couple of brakings, the handle for a child is great - it's just an adult under 2 fingers. It is also better to change it immediately, like the pedals. The bike is completely Chinese, this is written on all nodes. In 2022, they are only assembled and glued with the appropriate sticker. In general, the quality is so-so.
