Review on ๐Ÿพ Extra Wide Portable Pet Ramp - 71 Inch Long Tri-Fold Ramp by Pet Gear by Sharon Hartmann

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Recommended, but beware!

Definitely for big dogs. I wouldn't recommend it for a small dog unless you have more than one that likes to go for a walk at the same time. :) Liked: 1. Sturdy for my 10 year old 120 lb chocolate lab/Great Dane to walk up and down.2. The non-slip surface allowed his nails to dig into something to keep him from slipping off. Perfect length for our mid-size SUV (Jeep Grand Cherokee)4. Seems to be of very good quality (we only used it once on a 20 hour drive after realizing it was too difficult for our old man to get in and out of the SUV). Unpopular: 1. Nothing prevents him from getting his fingers caught when unfolding.2. Heavy for me - not my husband - I basically had to drop it to avoid pinching my fingers - still it's worth its weight and a few pinched fingers for the lightness it gives my old man.3. Very rough surface - I think a nail file - is the non-slip surface suitable for my boy's nails? Someone suggested gluing floor carpet squares. I think that would be ideal. (I'm on my way to search HD to get something!) 4. I don't know why but my husband felt the need to strap him down. We had a lot of things sliding in the back of the cargo area so maybe that was a way to keep them from sliding into our boy who took up the entire back of the SUV with luggage?
