Maybe for 20 lb dogs with no hair and soft shoes. :(

10 minutes passed. Opened box and then another box in. Up the ramp, to be safe, scraping with nails like 110 grit sandpaper, his hair stuck to the sandpaper.Poorly built .Sorry I hate leaving negatives.Packaging and return shipping.Luckily I knew FAIL before our trip.Yes it's cheap.and you get what you pay for.

Pros
  • Sturdy design

This ramp works great!

I have 2 large Goldens and a Jeep Wrangler that we use to tow our RV. The puppies are very picky about jumping in the back seat of the jeep when we need to take them somewhere. Since my jeep is black and they both have creamy white fur, I don't want them in the back seat because we'll never have people who want to sit in this hairy mess! I bought this ramp and was lucky enough to be able to get the dogs in the back of the jeep. It's strong but very light so I can hold both dogs (and they tend…

Pros
  • cool product
Cons

High quality. Holds up very well on our 90 lb (1 year old) newfie. I don't find it slippery as some other reviewers have noted, but haven't used it in the rain yet. Our dog is a bit afraid to walk up the ramp, she is a huge breed and has a wide stance, while we were exercising her on the ramp by the house, one of her back legs slipped off and seemed to stick to her - she is at her best , when I stand on my side and block one side so that it cannot accidentally come loose again. When folded it…

Great ramp for SUVs.

My dog is getting a little old and has trouble getting in and out of the SUV. The product is quite light, but at the same time durable. Can be a bit awkward to open, always feel like I'll pinch my fingers. That being said, I'm not sure if there's any other way to avoid this problem but still fold it down to a relatively small size. The ramp has a non-slip material that feels just like sandpaper. My dog didn't mind, but another dog might have a problem with it. It sits on the edge of the bumper…

  • Great for a small home

Great product for two German Shepherds and a camper.

We love that our two German Shepherds are easy and happy to use this ramp - they act like a new toy and enjoy climbing on it in our camper van. No training was required and they had never used the ramp before; I think they felt comfortable with it because of the sufficient width. We found a rubber mat at Walmart for $2.77 each that fits perfectly on each of the 3 sections of the ramp! It doesn't even need to be attached to the ramp, it stays in place but gives the dogs more support. We did this

Pros
  • Easy to assemble

  • Mostly good, but...

Nice ramp!.but. suitable for dogs

This ramp is almost perfect. I bought it because it's wider than most ramps I've seen online. My 40 pound Finnish Spitz weighs 13 1/2 and I know his eyesight is not the best at the moment. Thus it will have more width to overcome the ramp. My only complaint, hence 4 stars versus 5, is the sandpaper-like finish. I tried the ramp on a friend from the first step from landing to the ground. My dog started running down the cliff and couldn't hold onto it so he kind of jumped sideways at the bottom…

Recommended, but beware!

Definitely for big dogs. I wouldn't recommend it for a small dog unless you have more than one that likes to go for a walk at the same time. :) Liked: 1. Sturdy for my 10 year old 120 lb chocolate lab/Great Dane to walk up and down.2. The non-slip surface allowed his nails to dig into something to keep him from slipping off. Perfect length for our mid-size SUV (Jeep Grand Cherokee)4. Seems to be of very good quality (we only used it once on a 20 hour drive after realizing it was too difficult…

Works well for labs over 80 pounds. Stable, strong.

My labrador is about 12 years old and has had a hard time jumping into my truck for the past few months. So far I've picked it up and put it on the seat every time. Not a big task, but the old man doesn't like being picked up. I ordered this ramp to use when I'm too tired to lift or when I'm wearing clothes I don't want to take off. covered with dog fur. It works exactly as described. 25 minutes of training in a horizontal position on the floor, then on a couch, and finally in a truck, and now…
