After being almost stunned from looking at different cameras and reading all the reviews, I settled on this particular model. I received this camera on 11/28/2005 and gave it real training by filming my grandson who was born 4 days later. Except for a couple of photos that were a bit blurry, I think due to operator error, the photos were great. I haven't shot any outside shots yet, but I can't imagine any other quality. Haven't tried all the different settings including settings for snow, beach, kids etc. The printer worked great and produced nice prints. As for the ink cartridge and paper, I've never run out of ink before I ran out of paper. In my experience, the "Ink Low" message appears when there are about three sheets left, but the remaining sheets printed correctly before the message to replace the cartridge appears. By the way, I took and printed about 70 photos. You may or may not consider this limited experience. I took all of my photos on the lowest megapixel setting because I didn't want to run out of storage space. So I decided to buy more memory. Now I'm waiting for the setting to change so I can make increases. The Easyshare program is great. You can download photos and organize them in "Albums" with dates so you can find them quickly. You can send emails directly from Easyshare. Among other things, the program allows you to crop, enhance and fix red-eye problems, as well as other fun features. I also used the download feature where I downloaded some of my favourites, including some I've 'played' with (e.g. gear. . This is very easy. Of course you can get more with a higher end Kodak digital camera, but this Camera meets my needs and you can't beat the price. At the current deal I got a great travel case as it has a camera, docking station, printer tray and all the accessories. All in one package, perfect for that special occasion when you might be right before place want to put together an album for the recipient.By the way in the hospital someone took my camera and immediately dropped it and handed it to me.It fell on the floor and I winced but the camera had no external damage and apparently no internal damage since I've since done about 50 pixels with great results If I ever decide to upgrade my digital camera I'll be going to Kodak bl yews And I'll already have a docking station and a printer! I think it can be said that I am very satisfied with the product. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to operate this camera. I'm definitely not a high tech guy and I don't like confusing instructions or knobs and buttons that make you squint, so I found this camera perfect for me. I hope you find this review helpful.
