Was hoping for an internal battery (i.e. a continuity tester) - that's not the case.

Looking for something to test trailers that don't require a vehicle (e.g. battery) nearby. This is not the device. You can do this with a small 12v crocodile mounted on the side of the car, but I was really hoping for an internal clock battery or something. It's not the device's fault at all; everything is mine The device works great for its intended purpose and I will keep it for future use.
