The concept of using a curling iron is new to me. I grew up using curling irons but had moments of frustration with the hair clip pinching my hair in bad places so curling irons seem like a good alternative. This curling iron came beautifully packaged in a lovely black box which makes a great gift set the wand on and a glove you can wear on your hand that wraps the hair around the wand. The glove is thicker than another brand I've tried, but if it's thicker, you'll probably have a hard time controlling the hair. Depending on the hair type, the wand has several preset temperatures to choose from. I initially chose 355 for the medium hair on the front of my head, but I increased it to 375 for the thicker hair on the back. The wand heats up in less than a minute. The cable rotates when the wand is moved, so there is no problem with cable twists. The cord has a Velcro strap to secure the cord when the device is not in use. My curling iron has a 1.5 inch titanium body and creates big waves in minutes. I already had hairspray on my hair so it was a bit difficult. work with times It was a bit fiddly at first, but with practice it sure would be easy to do my entire head in 10-15 minutes - and I'm not a hair-savvy person. It would be even easier if you're curling someone else's hair with this wand, as it becomes especially difficult when you're trying to curl the back of the hair.
