Disappointed - Check wiring
The 4 inch pods I have on my boat just don't seem that bright and the side lights are useless in total darkness. I had 2 cheap 55w high beam headlights mounted on the back of my truck which were much better. Edit: I bought another brand of lamps and encountered the same weak issue. I would like to apologize as I found out that my relay was the actual problem. The old relay had a resistance of 1.5 ohms compared to 0.4 ohms on the new relay. Now the lighting works as expected. I will say that the brackets on the parking lights are not as good as the new headlights I bought.
