As always from this seller these pods arrived very quickly and were of very good quality. I had to order a switch and brackets to install them but once I have them installed and operational I will update my review with pictures and a description of the progress of the work. I installed them on my 2500HD and they are very bright and work well. I use them as DRLs so they're hot all the time. On a trip last week I drove 3 hours in the pouring rain. One light is fine, the other is filled with moisture (see photo). Based on that, I wouldn't call them waterproof. possibly waterproof as the light still works but still contains moisture after 12 days. UPDATE: There was a problem with a light and the seller fixed it immediately. Excellent customer service.

The 4 inch pods I have on my boat just don't seem that bright and the side lights are useless in total darkness.
