Review on 🔒 Dorman 02253 Bypass Cap Assortment - Set of 8 by Brian Samaiyar
Came sealed but missing parts, thick rubber
I bought these to replace the bypass cap on my Ford Straight 6 industrial water pump. The previous cap lasted almost 10 years (limited use). These plugs are fine as a temporary fix, but if I had room to fit a length of heater hose with a brass plug on the end, that would be my preferred permanent fix. The package must contain 8 pieces according to the package description, it arrived sealed but with only 7.
