This vacuum suited my financial need, but as my dad used to say, "You get what you pay for." The "telescopic" wand isn't just off cheap plastic, but also too short. I'm 5'8" and had to bend down to move the wand back and forth (while applying downward pressure). I have hardwood floors with carpets (and dogs) and the nozzle just seemed useless to glide over the carpet and sounded like she was scratching the wooden floor.The canister is too small (about 2 liters I think) and the last straw was that I had to pull the hose off the canister to take it off for emptying.To empty the canister , the release button was confusing when I pressed it and nothing happened until I realized I had to detach it from the other handle (other than the main handle) for the bottom to release the contents I don't know why this vacuum has so many positive reviews has as i used it for about 15 minutes and was exhausted and my carpet didnt look cleaner.i kept this vacuum cleaner i had to stop and carry the plug to every room while i vacuumed.the star i g What I've got is that it was delivered quickly - and it's owned by Revain, not the vacuum company.
