It's hard to find a local DSL modem these days, but it's about the only reliable service my sister can use in backcountry America. Bought it for her to replace the one she lost during a thunderstorm. Between phone support from TP-Link and her DSL company, it took her about 6 hours to set it up, but it's done and everything is working fine. She said customer service is helpful, but the international accent is sometimes difficult to understand. The default modem settings weren't what she needed. I recommend writing down your previous modem settings before setting this up, if possible. You should also call your ISP to make sure they can "see" your new modem, sometimes new hardware will be blocked until you give them specific information about it.
