Review on πŸ”© Cyclo Spoke Thread Rolling Head - 12g by Michael Glassburn

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Does a good job but requires patience.

This is good value for the home bike mechanic. I bought a 12 gauge needle threader from Eastern Europe and the cyclo knurled head is only slightly more expensive and much better designed. Since the alternative to using a roller head threader costs over $1,000, this is a steal. Turning the nut anti-clockwise increases the distance between the thread rolls, turning it clockwise narrows it. You have to turn them on the spoke, back off, turn the adjusting nut clockwise a quarter turn and repeat a few times to get a good thread, but they work. Apply a small amount of oil to the swivels, swivel shafts and the threaded end of the spoke to make the job easier.
