Review on Curtain Grommets - 8 Pack, Pewter, 1.56 Inch by Joan Hurley

I'm so glad I decided to try these eyelets on my curtains! I wanted something minimalistic and easy to use. They are perfect and look better than expected. I used medium weight cotton fabric. The photo shows that I simply folded the fabric and turned the interlining on. I didn't want any seams on the top. After folding and ironing, I sewed the sides and bottom of the curtains. Then I mark and cut holes for the grommets. Please note that the three layers of fabric plus padding were too cumbersome to simply snap the eyelets into place. And I didn't want to crop the interface because that would affect rigidity and change the look. I had to carefully use a rubber mallet to snap the bushings into place and they successfully withstood the abuse without breaking. Using thinner fabric would be a no-brainer. I love her and highly recommend her. I hope you find this useful.
