Review on Electric Cooktop ECOTOUCH Smoothtop CRAH774B by Sandro Pierce

I have a four wire (black, red, white and green) 220v socket in my kitchen. This hob comes with three wires only (black, white and green). When I hooked up a hob based on color coded wires (black-black, white-white, green-green), the hob (red radiant coils not shown) took a long time to boil a kettle (8 minutes). ). So I knew I must have hooked it up wrong. This Ecotouch company must have better installation instructions. Once I reconnected the correct wires (black-black, red-white, green-green), the hob immediately showed red emitting coils when turned on, and the kettle boiled in less than 2 minutes. Overall, this stove does a great job of cooking. The only thing I don't like is that the size doesn't fit a 30 inch hole. It's at least 1-1/2 inches short!
