Great hob but the size doesn't quite fit the 30 inch hole.

I have a four wire (black, red, white and green) 220v socket in my kitchen. This hob comes with three wires only (black, white and green). When I hooked up a hob based on color coded wires (black-black, white-white, green-green), the hob (red radiant coils not shown) took a long time to boil a kettle (8 minutes). ). Wiring instructions and some other comments

The wiring is the only difficult part for most I think. I had to read other reviews and instructions carefully to confirm it. The "white" neutral wire from your wall is not used. The product's wiring has what appears to be a white wire, but is actually more of a gray wire, and your first instinct is to connect your house's white neutral and gray wire together, but don't do it. First Impression: Great hob, incomplete instructions, should have used stickers for easy removal

Pros: It was very easy to install, especially as I was replacing an old hob of the same size. Just connect the wires and stick it in the meter hole and you're done! Inexpensive and easy to maintain

I admit that the main reason for buying this hob was the price. I cook a lot and my whirlpool cooktop, which I loved the most, had a short circuit so I had to find something quick. I was amazed at how much cooktop prices had gone up, I paid about $350 for a hot tub that was now selling for $650.
