They smell VERY bad. We opened the package which smelled faintly of perfume and we were greeted by a very strong stinky smell. The product clearly did not have enough time to release gas after production. We washed them and hoped the smell would go away but that didn't happen. They still smell like perfume even after cleaning. :(I am very disappointed. At the moment they are being aired out in the basement hoping that over time the exhaust will be enough to be usable.
