
I like this little hat. It technically works, but makes an unbearably high-pitched hum when the fan isn't running. A simple solution is to plug the fan into an always-on cable, but then you have to listen for a fan that's louder than my desktop. . If you're installing in a server closet, you might be fine. My application was for a touch screen, so I give it 2 stars. My touchscreen turns on (+1 star) but can only be used for the first 30 seconds as it then requires both hands to close my ears, making the touchscreen difficult to use. Maybe a bad block?
