Update2: Screen defect detected. Return

Update 08/21/2020: Noticed some black dots on the bottom left of the screen that persist no matter what is shown on the screen. Sometimes you can see a light green or pink spot behind it. Was this phone model launched before it was fully finished? To return. Update 08/18/2020: I've had my cell phone for 18 days now and I'm disappointed. The size is bigger than I like; The top is heavy in the back pocket, extra large for a handbag and with purses only available from October to November. I'm about to put my phone chips back into my Moto 4. I have a flexible case to attach a strap through the socket hole but there is nothing to protect the screen so it can't be carried in a bag. The rear cameras are too close to the edge of the phone, making it difficult to take a landscape photo without pointing a finger at the top where it's holding the camera. I also have a lot of trouble getting the camera to actually take a picture when I press the button. Sometimes it does that, sometimes it just puts a frame on the screen or something and doesn't take a picture. It also takes photos without pressing a button (delayed photos? No timer included as far as I know). Came home yesterday with as many photos of feet, thighs or table legs as expected. At first I was able to zoom in or out, but now some settings won't and I can't figure out how to just switch back to normal auto format. I'm looking for an instruction manual for the camera, but I couldn't find it. When you're on the internet, sometimes the page bounces; just squirm like crazy; and the only way to stop it is to leave the page. What I thought were good instructions on the Moto app doesn't show up for the camera. This phone is being returned when I can't find the correct instructions for the camera. It's a nice phone if you like the size and features are plentiful, but maybe a bit too complex for me. It's not your grandmother's phone. (I'm 69 and an early adapter.) Initial review: I've been reading phone camera reviews for months and waiting for the iphone 12 to come out hoping to get the iphone 11pro at an affordable price. . Then this phone was announced. The Motorola Edge has every imaginable camera function and much more storage space than an iPhone. What I couldn't figure out from the list was if the 256GB of internal storage was there or if it could be added with a mini SD card. It turned out to be both. There are 256 built in, and a mini SD card can also be added! I had it for a little less than two days. The rolled edge effect is very attractive, especially if you use it to see how loaded it is or to enhance some photos. The wrapped border can be turned off for certain applications, so you don't have to read messages wrapped around the border if you don't want to. On the right side of the phone is an action bar that is part of the screen and contains several navigation shortcuts. It will take time to learn all the gestures to use this phone, but the Moto app has very simple instructions, so in time I'll learn how to use the gestures and most of the phone's features. Camera with a few twists of the wrist even before you open the phone with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. I just took some photos. You are very clear. The background of a portrait photo blurs the background a bit. There are many photo enhancement tools out there and the cameras were the main reason for buying this phone. Posted unedited photos from the evening. Tilting the camera changed the lighting significantly. The second photo was taken shortly after the first to align the railing. The color of the lighting has also changed. There is no filter in the third photo. The screen displayed fuchsia, so what you see is what you get. There is a lot to learn about cameras, it will be fun. The sun black color of the phone shimmers and gives a nice subtle color glow to the back of the phone. There's no Motorola Edge case yet (Edge+ only), but it's sure to be available soon. (Looking for a wallet with sharp edges and a strap to attach to a belt loop in my back pocket.) The sound quality is excellent. This phone is more exciting than any other phone I've seen since my first smartphone. note 2; which was extremely difficult to learn. This is a top-of-the-range phone at a mid-range price; especially if you can get it for the original retail price.
