Stats: I'm 5'7 and 135. I'm pear shaped - small waist, big hips. The medium is a bit tight around the hips but I'm fine, I ordered the medium assuming (correctly) they were a size smaller than my last pair 12 (or more) years ago which were one size S was.History: I've had almost the same pair of shorts for 12 years, maybe longer. They literally fell apart at the waist, but I couldn't find anything similar. I was looking again the other day and found this! I am assuming these are the same shorts but updated. They are shorter to begin with and they are. I tucked away the back right zip pocket which I didn't like and never used anyway. ).What challenges me: the side pockets! My hips are full and the side pockets are usually never flattering. The same goes for these shorts. ; but I'll just have to live with them. Also, like I said above, they sized these shorts down so even though my original pair was small (and still fit well), I knew I had to order one - a medium one.
