This is a very stable device. I was afraid it would be awkward hanging off the end of my KA stand mixer, but it was perfect. It rolls out the dough very well. There was NO oil or grease on it that you even had to go through. I just had to wipe it down to get it ready to use, plug it in and set the mixer to 2 and it worked great. Although I don't have cutters yet, I got creative by cutting the dough into noodles. I highly recommend this article if you are interested in some really good homemade pasta.
