This clock is huge and heavy. Make sure to have good anchors (anchors/ screws included) or put them into studs. Also make sure you have the wall space.This clock still just runs on 1 'AA' battery like most other wall mounted clocks.I wasn't happy with how uneven the 2 hangers on the backside are. This makes it more tricky to get the wall screws into the right spots. My husband suggested using picture frame wire instead. We wrapped picture wire on each eyelet hanger and then hung this like a picture frame. This made it easier because we only needed to do 1 heavy duty wall anchor and then we just centered the wire onto the screw.This clock has Roman Numerals made out of black metal. The hands are also black metal. Definitely looks rustic with dark wood and black metal combination.This clock does make that quiet ticking noise, so it's not a sound-free one.
