When I switched ISPs, the installer placed the modem in the wrong place. The cable allowed me to move the modem to a more central location. I had to find an installer to connect to the cable entry point into the house because the connector was hidden in a plastic box that wasn't easy to open. The installer quickly connected and said the cable was fine and cheaper than what they were offering. I like it because it's white and flat and has plastic clips to hold it firmly to a wall or wooden ledge so it's barely visible although I can't put it under the floor/carpet.
