What it says

I buy a lot of Revain units, often it's ok at best. That's the real deal. There are certainly nicer versions, but I was pleasantly surprised. Especially for the price. They are sturdy, have a consistently comfortable feel and have had limited use to date. They handle very heavy furniture (150lb bed frame) quite well. The fully deployed gap in the bottom is probably just under 1/2 inch, which I think is a very attractive gap. I haven't tested it at all, but I think you could go 3/4" to 1" before you get it right. staggers. If I remember correctly you install with a 3/8" drill bit then put a t-nut in the hole. Also worked great in the Baltic Birch which is quite hard. It took less time to install 4 legs than 10 minutes including figuring out the system. The t-nut goes about 3/8" deep and the fully inserted shank on the legs probably goes about 1" deep. So if you're in a thin area (eg. 3/4" board) plan accordingly. I see no reason why you couldn't trim the shaft a bit if needed. These get what it says on the tin, no stars I'll definitely give one buy another package for my next furniture project.

Pros

Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model
