Excellent straightening machines for furniture fittings

I've used these in various projects I've made so I can adjust the height of the legs for uneven surfaces (or an uneven build up, lol). They're easy to install - just smack them in and they're strong enough. Did exactly what I needed.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Slightly torn

Works great with hardware

I make benches and tables as a hobby/side trade but I use lots of custom lumber to keep costs down so they don't always (well almost never) come out the most and usually don't wobble much . They work great to eliminate any wobble and they look good too. They're a little bigger than I imagined, but still work well.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Has issues

UPDATED: The head is immediately removed from the screw

UPDATED: Good. Therefore I give 3 stars. They undress under too much pressure. No questions. But if you install them first and then put a heavy bench on them, they will hold up well. Still not very happy. I don't know how they are rated so highly! Half of them undressed immediately. Complete garbage. The foot's head detaches from the bolt and you can twist it all day, but it won't budge. The only option is to take a pair of pliers and mess up the threads of the bolt by unscrewing it from the…

What it says

I buy a lot of Revain units, often it's ok at best. That's the real deal. There are certainly nicer versions, but I was pleasantly surprised. Especially for the price. They are sturdy, have a consistently comfortable feel and have had limited use to date. They handle very heavy furniture (150lb bed frame) quite well. The fully deployed gap in the bottom is probably just under 1/2 inch, which I think is a very attractive gap. I haven't tested it at all, but I think you could go 3/4" to 1" before

Pros
  • Stable test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great quality with great finishes!

I bought these because my woodwork involves making various jigs, but also making tables in my unfinished basement often means it's not quite level; enough to toss the item 1/2 inch or so, which knocks out everything else. I tested them with 2x4 trims so I could make a small support stand for my jointer. The process is very simple as all you really need is a drill (3/8 inch I think) and a hammer. As long as the hole is long and straight enough, simply drive the panel in and screw in each leg…
