Review on ASICS Gel Lyte Athletic Shoes: White Men's Performance Footwear by Chris Burns

Worn almost exclusively by Asics for over 20 years. Sock Fit Gel Kayanos are my favorite shoes. This is visibly disappointing. The build quality is lame. Materials don't "breathe" like in previous versions. These shoes are 1-1.5 sizes smaller - not in length, but in width. The outsole material is noticeably firm. I would return them but being blindingly white they got dirty the first time I wore them on the street. On the plus side, before the white gets dirty, they look pretty cool. But if I were to buy shoes where looks were more important than fit and quality, I wouldn't buy Asics. I guess now I need to know that there are different levels of Asics shoes. Not all are of good quality. Sad
