Great stuff. I've used them to open two USB ports on my arcade machine for connecting a keyboard or additional gamepad players. The only downside (probably a surprise, I should say) is that the USB sockets are encased in soft molded rubber material. It's probably great on a boat, not exactly what I was looking for but close enough. The threads are also short. You could probably attach a support nut up to 1/4 inch thick. My game closet is 3/4 thick. I just drilled the hole very tight and the friction fits the plug, works fine. You may also need a drill big enough to make the hole (an extra hardware store works for me).
