I used it the same evening I received it. It works as advertised, it took me a while to figure out that I need the +4 second interval to have a sustained trigger on my d3200. But once I figured that out, my walk became a lot more enjoyable as I had previously used a manual cable release and had to interrupt the recording for bathroom breaks, which resulted in noticeable gaps in the video composition. Not having a glowing LED isn't a problem, nor is a simple flashlight to set up, once I figure out how long to keep the shutter open it suffices, after all it costs $30 and changing the batteries around it ended up mine Turn off session takes care of the switch. I'm enjoying it immensely and look forward to many more nights of just turning it on and letting it do most of the work for me.
