A great addition to my time-lapse astrophotography.

I used it the same evening I received it. It works as advertised, it took me a while to figure out that I need the +4 second interval to have a sustained trigger on my d3200. But once I figured that out, my walk became a lot more enjoyable as I had previously used a manual cable release and had to interrupt the recording for bathroom breaks, which resulted in noticeable gaps in the video composition. Great for time lapse and long exposure control

The purpose of my purchase was a star trail photo/video but it works great for all types of time lapse videos. You can control the number, time and duration of the exposure of photos. You can set the exposure time or let the camera do it. For daytime shots, I usually set focus and metering and let the camera use them for the entire burst to avoid the flash effect that sometimes occurs, but sometimes I just let the camera do its job with autofocus and matrix metering. At night I set the ISO…

Pros
  • Backlit LCD
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging
