Review on 🔧 AC270T Tru-Tech Idle Air Control Valve - Enhanced Performance from Standard Motor Products by Dusty Wonsley

Reading the questions and reviews I wasn't sure if this IAC valve was an exact replacement for the Ford part number is. The IAC contains a balanced valve that is pulsed by the engine computer during idle, so the weight of the spring and valve is critical. I believe that's why conventional wisdom suggests just using a factory Ford part for the idle control valve. However, I gave it a shot and can say it worked brilliantly on a 2002 Ford Escape with a 3.0 liter Duratec engine. Even the gasket had a slightly unusual groove.
