The first thing you'll notice, if you are above a certain weight, is the flex. I freaked out a little at how much the center of the board sagged under my full weight. This is normal and part of the design. You never skate with both feet together, anyway.I am a formal surfer but new to skating (and I'm now in my fifties). This board is a lot of fun and easy to learn on. Once you're used to the flex, you'll embrace it since the ride will be smoother.
