Great quality right here, assembled in less than 5 minutes. As mentioned, the clamshell has a small gap/hole next to the key stem and inserting the keyboard caused a tear in the weld. All of this is to say that it is purely cosmetic and key works great. Safe and functional. Just don't stare at the crevices or cracks for too long and you'll be fine. The key to the redesign is a small screw that is self-tapping, unlike the original screw that screws into the keyboard. Holds everything securely. I like it and for the price it's no problem. Time will tell how long this takes, but I have one in reserve just in case and when. If you want perfection (à la Lexus!) buy an OEM key, otherwise for an old car this is a great solution.
