We have two Golden Retriever mix breeds and a lot of hair loss! I've tried several vacuum cleaners but am disappointed. I've used a portable vacuum from another manufacturer that works well, but I really wanted one that didn't need to be carried around. It's the perfect balance of size and performance. It worked great on my tile and wood, as well as our carpets. Some people have reported awkward cord routing and the fact that the vacuum can tip over. I had no problems at all. I've dragged it everywhere - around corners etc and it's never tipped over. The suction power is great, it can be regulated on the stick. I am very happy with this vacuum cleaner!
