This is a very easy way to make Hassleback Potatoes. Place the potatoes on a baking sheet, place the guide on top of the potatoes and cut into perfect slices at desired spacing. The way the potatoes sit on the baking sheet allows the knife to cut just the right distance without cutting all the way through. Place the potatoes on a non-stick, rimmed baking sheet (it will get messy). Brush them with your favorite butter mixture, salt and pepper. Spread them out as you bake and you have the best side dish imaginable.
