Do I understand that this is a safe way to secure bikes? The straps are a flat, canvas-like polyester cord that feels like knotted knots might slip off at high speed or in wet weather. And the feeder straps and matching clips for the parts that attach the trunk to your car take time and can be frustrating. Not a bad beginner stand if you want to start cycling or cycling. You'll save a few bucks, but if you regularly save time and buy ones that have elastic bands or other better fasteners.
