Practical, easy-to-use dehumidifier for small spaces

In summer, high humidity levels make your home 'feel warmer' and your air conditioner works harder to keep the temperature down. In the summer, it's best to expect your home to be around 30% humidity. I live in an area where the outdoor humidity is above 50% most days, so lowering the indoor humidity can really help. Dehumidifiers remove moisture from the air, causing water to collect. I have a large one in the basement that I hooked up to a drip hose that goes to the sewer. Pros: - Easy to use, lightweight and easy to move around - This device is *not* very big. He can sit on the table. It has a 2 liter water tank (about 2 liters). - It can remove up to 3/4 quart (750ml) from a room on a humid day - Doesn't use much power and is fairly quiet when running, but probably noisier than a small fan - Works best in a small area . Less than 160 - 175 sqm. Feet - Has a green light when working, which can serve as a goodnight light. Cons: - No humidity sensor to show you the current humidity level. It's not necessary, I'm just such a geek. - You will need to check the water and drain the tank about every 2 days - Will not be as effective in a large room (more than 10 feet by 15 feet) - Will not be as effective in a room where you open the window frequently Faces the street or is part of a central heating and air conditioning system. Works best with room air conditioners. Tips: - Keep the air inlets and outlets clean. - Use with room air conditioner. - Schedule a water level check every other day. In areas of high humidity, it can fill up almost as quickly.
