Review on 💡 Optimized Kraken Hydra 5000 WSRU Light by Klassic Duncan

This review is for the newer version of these 5000+ lights. I didn't buy them from Revain, I bought them from another high quality national store. The main unit failed between 6 and 12 hours of use on both lamps, rendering them unusable during a particular safari dive. I gave them two stars because they were beautiful lights when they worked, no rings, shadows or artifacts in the beam at all, a very nice white soft light. I can also say that they are very nicely designed and the devices themselves appear to be of high quality. I've noticed that they give off a significant amount of heat and you can feel that when diving. If you can't trust your flashlights on a big trip, the best flashlights in the world are just as good as the worst. . I sent them back and received full credit for which I am very grateful to the store. Perhaps they should consider a break-in period for their electronics. Two mishaps out of two is a bad sign.
