We happily bought them for my son as he is Vebelo and needs a new uniform. Those are great pants. They're pretty much comparable to the ones my oldest son wears from the Boy Scout store, but sometimes cheaper. The material is thin, but that means it dries quickly if it gets wet. He'll definitely need the bottom layer when it gets cold. The belt is very tight but fits. I like the drawstring in the pants so he can wear them without a belt if it's not for boy scouts. The legs come off and are perfect for shorts. Update: We just bought two more pairs of these (kids keep growing). It's a form fitting style. My kids are like beanstalks, so this works for them. The elastic only really pulls the pants together in the back, so he still needs a belt. I would like the elastic to go a little further on the sides for a better fit. They dry very quickly and are very light. In winter we have to switch to another brand because they are so thin (my kids will be freezing).
