Very satisfied with the overall quality of this product. I bought this as an upgrade from one I've had for years. This is a nice spot in the car. I love that it has a strap to wrap around your back, it's a seat to secure it if you need to hit the brakes. The extra padding is thin but I like that it can be removed so it can be easily washed after outings when it can get a little dirty at times. Another reason for the low star is that the "harness" attached to the dog's collar is a nice addition, but I had a puppy and it wasn't long before he was chewing halfway through when I wasn't deceptively noticeable. Upgrading to this Fabric Connector would make me give it five stars. The rest are happy. As I said, I bought it for my Maltese and it fits him perfectly in size. He can lie down comfortably if he wants.
