I have shredded pork belly for homemade sausage for breakfast, beef tenderloin and beef steaks for homemade burgers. It doesn't require much force to crank the meat. I'm really happy with this product. I've used it twice for burgers and twice for pork sausage and wasn't disappointed. Each time I shredded about 2 pounds of meat. After cutting the meat and grinding it into the finished product, it takes about 10-15 minutes. I know some have reported cleaning issues, but if you take all the parts apart and wash them with warm soapy water, all is fine. You may need to look out for a few small creases to make sure you've got everything covered, but you had no trouble with warm soapy water and a washcloth.
