Love this brush! This brush is the perfect size for my new A-line cut. It makes my hair very straight and gives it just the slightest curl so my hair falls towards my face instead of being fluffed out like it normally does. My smaller round brush curled the ends too much and made my hair look more like a bob than a trapezoid and made it triangular, which wasn't the look I was going for. My stylist recommended I get a 4 inch round brush and this 4.5 inch brush was the closest I could find. It gives my hair the look I wanted. My advice and suggest you remove the black rubber pad on the brush handle as it pulls out clumps of hair if you use it as is. This is just a decorative piece of rubber that can be easily removed and the brush looks great without it. Also, I've found that my hands get a lot more tired after using this brush than my other brush, not because it's heavy or so big, but because I have to pull harder on the brush to get it over the hair. I think it's this type of bristles that allows my hair to hold onto the comb very well, which requires a little extra muscle power. But my hair has never felt so soft and silky, even with my other round brush, so it's worth it! I would definitely recommend this brush to anyone with hair at least 8 inches long. too big for such a short haircut.
