Review on 👶 Safety 1st Flat Step Baby Gate - Pressure-Mounted, White Finish, Standard Size by Amber Davis

So I bought this instead of the Easy Pressure Install Safety 1st Gate I've always used because it has to be 30 inches tall. It is not. This is less than 28.5 inches; The other gate is 28 inches and $44.99 compared to this one at $74.99. Even the super big and super wise version of the other is $10 cheaper than this one. And I'm not a fan of the locking mechanism on this one above the other. Definitely not worth the price and will not buy again. EDIT March 2020: Downgraded from 3 stars to 1 because it's in the trash. In December 2019, after 4 months of infrequent use, the base (the plastic piece that attaches the swing door to the base) broke off causing the door to constantly detach from the lower frame. Then, in February, the piece of plastic holding the top of the gate broke off, rendering it 100% unusable. This gate has barely lasted 4 months with minimal use while other gates have lasted over 5 YEARS with repeated daily use. Absolutely the worst purchase I've made for security. Disappointed, looking at other brands now.
