Review on Enhance Safety with the Blue Lightning Radar Detector Dash Mat - Anti-Slip Magic Pad by David Gibbs

I bought this to easily move the detector between vehicles. When handled, the "stickiness" disappears and you need to clean it to make it work like new. Not all dashboards are smooth and flat. And leather isn't exactly a material you can clean with alcohol. A little disappointing. Even after a few days it seems to lose "stickiness" to the point that a slow, moderate rotation leaves the detector on the ground. My power cord is not tight enough to pull the detector, but just the weight of the cord makes the detector slip. I think it's not bad if you have a smooth, flat stroke, drive on straight roads and don't move it between vehicles. For the price I should have tried it but if anyone has any suggestions for a rug or pillow that will work for more than a few days I'd appreciate a recommendation. The good news is that it is not expensive to try.
